PS Fikirini Jacobs shared a clear and hopeful message about the future of Kenya’s youth at his thanksgiving ceremony held in Mnagoni Primary School, Bamba, Kilifi County
He announced plans to hold Youth Summits in all 47 counties to directly engage with young people, listen to their ideas and challenges, and encourage them to believe that success is possible.
The PS also called on employers, both in government and the private sector, to give more young people opportunities, even those with little or no work experience. He emphasized that many young people have the skills, energy, and determination needed to grow if only they are given a chance.
He also spoke about the importance of partnership between experienced leaders and energetic young people, saying that bringing together wisdom and fresh ideas can be a game changer for workplaces and institutions across the country.
