DRIVING SERVICE EXCELLENCE: INSIGHTS FROM KENYA’S REGULATORY AGENCIES CONFERENCE

PS Ismail Maalim Madey, from the State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, joined Hon. Musalia W. Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, as he inaugurated a two-day conference on Thursday, April 11th, this year. The event focused on the theme: “Regulatory Authorities and Agencies (RAA) as Critical Agents in the Frontline of Achieving the Administration’s Promise of Premier Service Delivery to Kenyans.” The conference, held at the Kenya School of Government in Mombasa, brought together Principal Secretaries, Chairpersons, and Chief Executive Officers.

“Participating in discussions at the Kenya School of Government, Mombasa, on revitalizing regulatory agencies and authorities. Valuable insights shared by the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Mudavadi, and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei to enhance efficiency and avoid overlaps,” stated PS Ismail Maalim Madey.

Among the speakers was Mombasa Governor, Hon. Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir. The conference concluded on Friday, April 12th, in Mombasa. In his closing remarks, the HOPS emphasized the importance of being predictive and agile in duties, encouraging regular peer learning and review among the guardians of public trust.
