ADVANCING SERVICE EXCELLENCE: DIGITALIZATION INITIATIVES FOR YOUTH AFFAIRS AND CREATIVE ECONOMY

In the pursuit of enhancing service delivery to the youth and creatives of our nation, Mr. Allan Machari, MBS, Secretary of Administration at the State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, chaired a meeting today with the Digitalization Committee. The purpose was to expedite the process of integrating the department’s services onto the e-citizen platform.

The committee provided an update, indicating progress in developing the necessary tools for digitalization. Monica Omoro, Head of the Public Communication Unit, guided the meeting through the finalized Citizen Service Delivery Charter (CSDC) for the State Department. She elaborated on the services offered, user responsibilities, and associated timelines outlined in the service charter.

Omoro encouraged the Technical Heads to uphold the commitments outlined in the resolved Departmental CSDC and urged them to propose additional services to be included in the charter.

These collective efforts aim to advance youth empowerment and development, foster youth participation and inclusion in national development and leadership, and nurture and cultivate youth talents for national development, among other objectives. They are integral to enhancing the State Department’s service delivery to its constituents.
