The PS, State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, Fikirini Jacobs, joined the President HE. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, PhD, CGH, at Gusii Stadium for the disbursement of over Ksh.220M capital to 8,820 young Kenyans from Kisii, Nyamira, and Migori Counties.
Speaking in the function, the PS thanked the President for initiating the NYOTA programme to help the most vulnerable segment of our society, the young people who have had many challenges in navigating life. He explained that NYOTA is a structured programme that includes training, mentorship, and clear guidelines to help beneficiaries turn their ideas into successful business enterprises.
