Youths encouraged to leverage government programs for employment and entrepreneurship

Founder and Patron of Smart Mechanised Agriculture and Climate Action for Humanity and Sustainability (SMACHS) Foundation Charlene Ruto briefs the media on the sidelines of the International Youth Day at Swahilipot Hub, Mombasa.
Charlene encourages young people to connect with leaders and youth networks to help implement their ideas and dreams.
She believes many important developments are overlooked by youth and is actively working to bridge the information gap through her social media platform.
Charlene emphasises that information is power, and the youth must put effort into sharing information to ensure their voices are heard.
“Information is power, especially during this time and age. I try to bring this connection to the youth so they know what is happening, but it’s up to you to put in the effort and put yourself out there because the best I can do is give you the information,” Charlene reiterated.
