Youth Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
The main function of the division is to collaborate with youth serving organizations, private sector, and development partners to undertake policy, institutional, legal and programmatic measures to respond to challenges facing the youth in Kenya. Other functions include disseminating information on youth programmes, coordinating establishment and operationalization of YECs, coordination of field services, and supporting local, regional and international cooperation on youth development. Ongoing activities in the division are stakeholder mapping, development of a Youth Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement Framework and finalization of the development of the guidelines for the operation of Youth Empowerment Centres.
